There are 2 ways I feel about London right now...

1. I have been here 10 weeks and I feel like a proper Londonder...

2. This time in 2 weeks I will be home and reunited with all my favourite things/people...

...Not that I'm counting down or anything. Or am I?

ANYWAY, week 10 in London was a good one. Felicities had their first Autumn/Winter 2014 press day in the form of a champagne breakfast, with lots of yummy food and drinks.

It was fun seeing the showroom looking all pretty and filled with stylists/press there to see the designers amazing new collections, and after spending most of the past 2 weeks on the phone inviting people along, it was good they made it along. I love getting experience real parts of the fashion industry!

I had to make my choices for fourth year back at uni this week. Yep, FOURTH YEAR. Year 4 of my 4 year course. MY LAST YEAR. I literally cannot believe it but after a night stressing and deliberating with the girls, (and ruling out those modules with 100% exam and any group work) I ended up choosing to study 'women in the media' and 'celebrity culture' and I am not dreading being back in Aberdeen come September!

It was another lovely sunny weekend in London, and on Saturday Chloe and I walked around London before our rumbling tummies took us to Meat Liquor.

We LOVE burgers if you hadn't guessed. The portions were huge, but I was SO disappointed. Being the great lover of burgers that I am, it didn't come close to my favourite and my inner critic gave it a 2/10.

We ended up down on Southbank where we met Fiona and walked along in the sun, taking a few selfies/tourist photos of course!

I spent Sunday in Shoreditch, exploring the Columbia flower market, Brick Lane and Spitafields markets. I LOVE IT. I picked up lots of cute pieces of jewellery, but my favourite purchase of the day had to be my 2 huge punnets of delish strawberries... for £1.50. BARGAIN!

This week was also the week that I decided Frozen needs to be made into a stage show, with me playing the leading role of course. I somehow woke up today with a ridiculous cough and limited use of my voice, and it might be because I've been practicing for said leading role ALL weekend. Sorry to anyone in Bethnal Green with ears. (Not really sorry though because Frozen is BRILLIANT and honestly my voice is better than the usual screaming chavs you hear.)

My bark (genuinely sound like a barking dog when I cough) is crazy and Chloe is currently on her way home with treats for me (have I mentioned she is the best roomie) and we are spending the night watching...guess...Frozen... Silently.

I can't believe it's Sunday night again but and tomorrow is my 10th Monday in London. Time is going so SO FAST.

I've been at Felicities for 9 whole weeks now and this week passed just as fast. It's ridiculous amounts of fun living/working in the city but I'm starting to miss the lazier uni days - Tuesday night saw me bedded by 8pm having a tumblr night finding cute/cringe quotes to get us through our last few weeks of our internships!

This ones a personal fave.. People need to start calling me Princess Ailish.

Crazy amounts of phone calls inviting people to our press days and before I knew it, it was 5pm on Thursday and only 1 more day till the weekend! Chloe and I decided to head to Westfield in Stratford for some yummy food and some late night shopping... We had an amazing Wagamama katsu curry and some retail therapy and it was so much fun!

After another day of phone calls it was finally 5pm and I was skipping out the showroom ready to meet Chloe, Michelle and Fiona at Pub on the Park for some drinks as it was Michelle's last night in London.

The combo of my half up hair and denim jacket made me look like and extra from Saved by the Bell / a 5 year old.

We had the loveliest night and it ended with Michelle and I thinking we were musical stars singing Let It Go from frozen at a ridiculous volume. Sorry new flatmate! We had to wake up early on Saturday to get Michelle and all her luggage on the train home.. Emotional times!

The 3 amigos are no more.

Chloe and I cheered ourselves up with a visit to Camden market, where we had the best smoothies and brownies EVER.

I was once again a Princess Intern on Saturday night when my fab Auntie, Uncle and cousin were in London and took me out for dinner...complete with champagne. So much food.

It's just as well my body seems to be incapable of sleeping past 8.30 am, because I never get to anyway - we were up super early on Sunday cause we were off to BRIGHTON for the day! My Granny was down visiting family so Chloe and I got the train down to spend the day with her, and it was so much fun.

We saw all the Lanes with some amazing shops, jewellers and sweet shops galore!

Of course I bought some Wonka Nerdz because they are 1 of the best sweets in the world!

The famous choccywoccydoodah. It smelled amazing.

A mirror selfie of course. Just look at that cake though.

Literally couldn't resit this. Looking good Chloe!

Then we walked down to the famous Brighton Pier! I LOVED IT! It was amazing to see the sea and breathe that fresh non grimy city air! It did start to rain, so to escape we went on the Brighton Wheel and saw everything from high in the sky! We even went on some rides and it was literally so much fun! We are the biggest kids ever.

Everything is so pretty in the sun.

We found another face-in-hole. I find these way too funny. Just call me Ariel!

Waltzer selfies.

After the excitement of the rides, we needed food and my Granny took us to an Italian restaurant where I had possibly  the BEST pizza ever. I couldn't not have a cake on a Sunday and we found the cutest pink cupcake shop so naturally I bought a few for the train ride home!

I have had such a lovely weekend and I know I say it every Sunday, but weekends in London are my absolute favourite! Now it's bed time after a Sunday night pamper - All the fresh air has made me sleepy!

No I have not turned into a 14 year old who thinks everything is 'wicked', you'll understand why my weekend was wicked if you keep reading.

WEEK 8 OF PLACEMENT DONE. This week consisted of lots of phone calls and a few trips to deliver clothes, and ended with macaroons in the showroom. It is so so weird thinking that this time 8 weeks ago I was sitting in my room freaking out about being an intern...and now I'm 3 quarters of the way through. It's even weirder that this time in 4 weeks I'll be back home!

I got the Friday feeling a day early this week when one of my best friends Kristen came to visit for the weekend. I met her after work on Thursday and we went for dinner, had a few cocktails and ended up booking tickets to see Wicked on Friday night. Loving life! Although it felt like the weekend, it was still a school night so we headed back to the hood for a chilled night.

After what felt like the longest week it was finally, actually Friday and time to be posh girls and go to the theatre. I've loved the Wizard of Oz movie since I was little and have wanted to see Wicked since I became obsessed with the song Defying Gravity after hearing it on Glee, so it's safe to say I was excited!

The show was AMAZING, and I loved it and now I wish I could sing like the cast. Unfortunately for my flatmates, in my head I have the voice of an angel but out loud, not so much.

On Saturday we did the best thing there is do to on a Saturday - shopped! Due to my body being so used to waking up at 8am, we made it into Oxford Street for 11 and spent a good few hours there making our way through all the shops. Obviously we couldn't do this on an empty stomach, and since the sun was shining, we had some Frae frozen yoghurt which was delicious! I had Oreos and strawberry and it was so yum.

After some more shops...too many shops - we are literally the WORST influence on eachother when shopping...we came accross Ben's cookies, and ever since reading one of my favourite bloggers, the Londoners blog post about how amazing they were I had to try one... Triple chocolate of course. So good!

We wandered down Carnaby St in the sun and ended up inTrafalger Square where we sat in the amazing weather for a while. I love the sun!

Of course I couldn't have Kristen staying with me and not take her to one of my favourite discoveries...Shake Shack. Ahhhh their burgers are amazing and I won't even get started on the cheese fries and milkshakes!

I literally cannot get over how delicious the Breakfast Club is, so naturally on Sunday morning we headed to Hoxton for a feast! I had pancakes with berries, vanilla cream and mayple syrup and they were SO GOOD!

We walked through the Columbia Road flower market on the way back and it was SO pretty. There was literally every kind of flower you could ever want! Maybe not my best idea though since my hay fever has started verrrrry early... So much pollen, so many sneezes.

After chilling in the sun in Chelsea Kristen had to go home, so I met Fiona and we had some cocktails in the sun....I love weekends in London!
